What is Hockey Bureau?
Hockey Bureau is club management software for youth hockey. A club declares its operating standard once — onboarding, communications, knowledge transfer, and family experience — and every team in the club inherits it, season after season, regardless of which volunteer is managing that team.
How is Hockey Bureau different from TeamSnap or Crossbar?
Hockey Bureau is not a replacement for TeamSnap or Crossbar. Those tools operate at the level of a single team — a roster, a schedule, a chat thread. Hockey Bureau operates at the level of the club, sitting beneath the tools a club already uses and standardizing how all of its teams are run.
Who is Hockey Bureau for?
Club operators, board members, and coaches who are accountable for how a whole club runs — and the parent volunteers conscripted into the team-manager role. The product assumes the manager is a volunteer with limited time, not a full-time administrator.
What size club is Hockey Bureau built for?
Clubs of roughly 6 to 60+ teams. The problem it solves — every team run differently by a different volunteer — starts to hurt somewhere around a half-dozen teams and compounds from there.
How much does Hockey Bureau cost?
There is no published rate card yet. Hockey Bureau is in a piloting phase for the 2026–27 season, and pricing is worked out club by club based on size and needs. More on pricing.
Does a club have to replace its existing software?
No. Hockey Bureau is the operational layer beneath a club's existing tools. Registration, scheduling, and payments stay where they are.
Who builds Hockey Bureau?
Bureau Sports LLC, of St. Louis, Missouri, founded in 2026 by Allison Cousins, Andrew Siebert, and Tom Bremer. It began as a rewrite of one club's team-manager manual — the full account is here.
